What You Should Know About the WOWBatangas Campus Crush Contest

Campus crushes are those who are admired based on their good looks and the way they carry themselves or based on their achievements, talent, and wit. Or maybe, a combination of all these impressive factors.
Being the online hub of Batangueño students, we want to feature the campus crushes of each of our partner school who serve as role models for their schoolmates. And so we came up with the search for Campus Crush of the Month. This is an individual contest which means it would not be a battle among our partner schools (since we claim that WOWBatangas Campus is the ‘unifier’ of the student populace of the province).
HOW DO WE CHOOSE A REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE CAMPUS CRUSH OF THE MONTH?
The Campus Crushes (male and female) may be chosen/referred by (1) our WOWBatangas Campus Correspondents, (2) the school administration or students. Interested participants may also volunteer themselves and shall coordinate with the Campus Correspondent of their school.
HOW WILL THE ONLINE VOTING RUN?
The online voting will run on the WOWBatangas Campus Facebook Page where the profile photos of each of the candidates will be posted. What the supporters must do is to LIKE first the WOWBatangas Campus page then go to the profile photo of their chosen Campus Crush. One like is equal to one vote.
JUDGING DETAILS
The Campus Crush for the month (male and female category) are the persons with the highest percentage of votes. 80% from online voting and 20% from the 4 WOWBatangas Team Members. The vote of one WOWBatangas Team Member is equivalent to 6.25% of the total votes of the highest vote getter.
Example: Juana tops the voting poll with 800 votes. JR voted for Juana as well, so she gets an additional 50 votes (800 x .0625 = 50). Her total vote count is 850, assuming the other team members voted for others.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
Votes will be canvassed fully on the Wednesday of the last week of the month, or as announced by the WOWBatangas Team. Winners will be announced soon thereafter.
WHAT’S IN STORE FOR THE WINNING CAMPUS CRUSH (MALE and FEMALE)
Winners will get a certificate from WOWBatangas for being the WOWBatangas Campus Crush of the Month, along with gifts from our sponsors of the month. An awarding event or fashion show may be held to showcase the Campus Crushes.
BATANGUENOS CHOICE
Profile pictures of the Campus Crushes will be posted on WOWBatangas.com and WOWBatangas.com Facebook page. This is done exactly one week after the voting on the WOWBatangas Campus page has started. The Male and Female contenders with the highest number of votes from the WOWBatangas Facebook page fans will receive the Batangas Choice for Campus Crush, to be presented on the same date of awarding of the Campus Crush of the Month. GCs, sash and other awards may be given to the winners of this special award.
